Dear Morris, We got some pictures developed
and check out this Permit.....this was one of the fish that had
escaped my caught list for a long time. Seems fitting that I
should catch my first one my favorite captain and good friend.
What a great three days with you catching 20 Sails, 11 Cobia,
2 Permit and watching a 14' Hammerhead shark eat one of the Permit
in one easy bite !!!! Seeing 8 Whale sharks in three days was
quite a treat also. Good things seem to always happen when we
fish together. We need to do more of it !!!
Best Regards, and see you in June !!! John Stegeman |

DEAR MARTY AND JAIMIE,
THANKS AGAIN FOR A WONDERFUL FISHING TRIP. SAMMY AND I HAD A BLAST.
THE NEW BOAT IS EXCEPTIONAL AND BUILT PERFECTLY FOR WHAT YOU GUYS
DO ON A DAILY BASIS......CATCH BIG FISH. THE 2 LARGE SAILS WE HOOKED
UP WITH WERE A GREAT FIGHT, AS WERE THE GROUPER AND MUTTON SNAPPER,
BUT THE KING MACKS WERE ALOT OF FUN... WHAT A GOOD FIGHT FOR A
SMALLER FISH... THEY WERE LIKE LITTLE SILVER BULLETS. GREAT ACTION!!!
AS ALWAYS YOUR PROFESIONALISM AND KNOWLEDGE IS SECOND TO NONE.
EVERYWHERE WE WENT, BEFORE WE COULD TELL PEOPLE HOW GREAT YOU GUYS
ARE AS CHARTER BOAT FLEET, WE WERE BEAT TO THE PUNCH BY PEOPLE
WHO ALREADY KNEW THAT. BEFORE WE COULD GET THE WORDS OUT OF OUR
MOUTHS ABOUT THE " MAIN ATTRACTION" THE LOCALS AND OTHER
VISITORS WERE ALREADY BRAGGING THAT THEY ALSO KNOW YOU GUYS AS
THE BEST.
ENCLOSED ARE A FEW PICS FROM OUR JAN 2 2006 TRIP.
PS AS ALWAYS SAMMY ADDED A FEW FOR THE CREW..
THANkS AGAIN, SEE YOU NEXT MONTH...

Dear Marty, Jamie, and Morris
For 8 years my wife and I had chased that elusive ‘first’ sailfish.
I’d lost count of how many Keys Charters we’d been
on, but its easily 25 or more, and then we happened on “Main
Attraction”.
Suffice it to say, after numerous “boat rides”,
a few fish, we had no illusions as to what to expect from a
chartered trip. At least that is, until Main Attraction. Your
organization has truly rewritten the “How to Run a Charter” book.
Lady Luck was with us and we booked with you after a late cancellation.
After a dynamite morning of Yellowtailing (our request), Marty
asked if we’d be interested in looking for Sails on the
way back. My wife, the eternal optimist, was so excited that
I didn’t bother to remind her of how many times we’d
been disappointed, and decided to catch up on some badly needed
sleep. A short time later I was awakened by a lot of excited
yelling and scrambling and looked up to see my wife firmly
locked in a duel with a huge Sail, with Marty and Jamie scurrying
to clear the lines.

Exceptional Service;
I just wanted to thank you guys for a job well done. My wife & I
were vacationing with another couple (old friends from Pa.) After
many local inquirys, we discovered that you guys were the best
charter service in Marathon-perhaps the Keys.Highly recommended!!
The only booking you had left on such short notice was a 1/2
day charter out on a 42'Morgan with Capt. Billy & his 1st
Mate-Ariel (I hope I spelled his name right). The guys had left
at 5:30 in the morning to go out in the skiff to get fresh bait
for the day (Pilchers). Capt. Billy picked us up at the dock
at 7:00 as promised. We then proceeded out to sea where we picked
up Ariel & the bait. Ariel made sure we had lots of bait!!!!!!
Less than a 1/2 hour later we stopped near the reef to rig up.
I was lucky enough to win the coin toss so I hauled in the 1st
fish (AmberJack). We then worked our way out past the reef & got
into a hot & heavy school of Bonita. My buddy & our wives
had a lot of fun reeling in 5 of these tough buggers. We then
continued to troll. About an hour later Capt. Billy screamed
out "Free Jumper"!!! We furiously reeled in the equipment & Capt.
Billy gunned the motor & put us directly over the last spot
he saw the Sail. Within seconds Ariel was furiously casting lines
around the boat. We almost immediately had a hit & a huge
Sail broke the water. We were hooked! The next 20 minutes was
pretty much a blur as I fought my 1st ever Billfish.I would call
it organized pandemonium. Capt. Billy had joined the fray & helped
toss out additonal lines. Sails were jumping everywhere. I was
concentrating on my huge fish & trying to keep lines from
being crossed. Ariel & Billy were shouting out directions.
My buddy fought 2 additional Sails & lost them both. All
of this in a space of 20 to 30 minutes. It was a total team effort.
Quite a few other charters saw (or heard) all the commotion & had
circled us like attacking Indians around a wagon train. Capt
Billy did an excellent job guiding that huge boat back to my
Sail. We
finally landed the fish & quickly took pictures (35mm). It
took 3 of us-Ariel, Capt. Billy & myself to hold him up properly
for the portrait. Ariel estimated him at 70 lbs. I wish now I
had measured his length but I was in a hurry to get the Sail
back into his environment. (Try holding your breath while I take
your picture!) Capt. Billy & Ariel figured we had hooked
6 sails & one kingfish in what seemed like just minutes.
One for 6. (As I said it was pretty much a blur). I have fished
Cabo, Puerto Vallarta, West Palm, & twice in Costa Rica for
billfish & never succeeded. My dream had finally come true.
I have also hunted & bagged big game in Wyoming (Elk) & N.
Ontario (Moose) & this experience rates right up there with
those memories. If anyone else reads this report; book these
guys for a 3/4 day minimum & make sure you tip them well
when they bring you back. They are worth every penny. I'll be
back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fishing on the Hump

Dear Marty and Jamie,
Thanks for the great fishing trip we had during lobster sportsman
season. We went out on Monday and you warned us that the
dolphin had not been biting and suggested that we reef fish.
But then you said we could try for some tuna instead. We
went for the tuna and caught a bunch and then you found a
barrel and lo and behold a school of dolphin. We caught eight
slammers, one was about 38 lbs. Needless to say you exceeded
our expectations. You guys were great to fish with and a
lot of fun. Even the story about the dentists from Pennsylvania
and the girl on the boat was a keeper. Being a dentist myself
it always amazes me what trouble some guys can get into!
We have reserved the same Monday (July 25 ) for next summer and
we would also like to book that Friday (July 29 ).
Thanks again,
Bob Bosque

CAPTAIN MORRIS, MARTY AND JAMIE
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR A THRILL OF A LIFE TIME. MY FIRST SAILFISH.
82" INCHES LONG, AND WHAT A FIGHT. THE FISH WAS CAUGHT
AFTER 2 HOURS ON THE TROLL IN LESS THEN FAVORABLE CONDITIONS.
CAPT. MARTY AND THE BEST MATE I EVER FISHED WITH JAMIE, WENT
ABOVE AND BEYOND TO FIND THE FISH. WITH BASIC TROLLING PATTERNS
EXHAUSTED, THE CREW DECIDED TO TRY KITE FISHING WITH LIVE BATE.
WITHIN IN MINUTES I WAS HOOKED UP WITH THE TROPHY FISH. THE
BOAT WAS A FISHING MACHINE DESIGNED TO DO JUST THAT..... FISH
!!!!!!!!! NO LUXURIES JUST A WIDE OPEN COCKPIT AND TOP FISHING
EQUIPMENT. THE CREWS KNOWLEDGE WAS SECOND TO NONE. MOMENTS
LATER MY WIFE HOOKED UP WITH A SLIGHTLY SMALLER SAIL THAT PULLER
HER AROUND THE BOAT FOR A WHILE BEFORE TOUCHING THE LEADER
FOR HER FIRST OFFICIAL SAILFISH. NEEDLESS TO SAY IT WAS A GLORIOUS
DAY FOR US BOTH. WE ARE STILL ON CLOUD NINE, BACK IN THE 20
DEGREE JERSEY WEATHER, PLOTTING OUR NEXT TRIP WITH YOU IN APRIL
2005 A FULL DAY SIGHT FISHING TRIP FOR SAILS AND COBIA....
I SEE IT LIKE THIS...YOU WOULDN'T GO TO ANY OLD DOCTOR FOR
A HEART BYPASS... DON'T GO ON ANY OLD BOAT FOR YOUR FIRST SAILFISH......
GO WITH THE BEST ..." MAIN ATTRACTION SPORT FISHING"
PLEASE FEEL FREE TO POST MY COMMENTS. IT MAY SAVE SOMEONE AN
EXPENSIVE BOAT RIDE WITH ANOTHER FLORIDA KEYS CHARTER BOAT
COMPANY.
THANKS A MILLION,

Capt. Morris
Wanted to let you know how much our family enjoyed our offshore
trip with you. Caught lots of yellowtail snapper, some grouper,
an amberjack, and a few barracuda, a great variety of fishing
that kept my family on their toes. Your mate, Ariel, was
friendly and always on top of things. You've got a great
boat for families, big, clean, comfortable with a first-rate
fishing crew. Here are some pictures of our trip for you
to enjoy. -Dave Ott, Frederick MD.

Morris, Marty & Jamie
RE: March 8, 2003 charter for Blackfin Tuna
I would like to thank you all for the hard work and dedication
you invested into making our day of offshore sportfishing a complete
success. Thanks to Captain Marty for getting up before the sun
to catch the lively pilchards so necessary for successful fishing
as well as positioning the Main Attraction in the perfect location
on the fish. Thanks to Jamie who worked quickly and courteously
to get the baits in the water, set hooks, chum live bait, gaff
the fish and re-rig the rods without ever taking a break! I am
a seasoned angler and the proficiency you guys demonstrated was
very impressive. I'm not sure you realize just how much skill
you guys possess. I would like to let you all know that it surely
does NOT go unnoticed. We look forward to fishing tournaments
with you in the future. Sincerely, Chris Hart - SSgt, USAF
MacDill, AFB FL.

From Jerry Schilligo (the camera guy), National
Accounts Executive, CWE/JRS, Wholesale Photographic Imaging
Distributor
Morris, We've only been back from Spring break
for a week and I am already looking forward to my next fishing
trip aboard the Main Attraction. We've been fishing with you
for over ten years and each time we go out we are still amazed
at how much fun we have and what a first class job you do to
help us catch fish. This year was especially fun due to the
fact that my 15 year old son Jesse caught his first sailfish,
an 86" beauty. You and Ariel did a fantastic job as usual
and the memories will live on through the many pictures we
have. We brought home two coolers of fish fillets and have
already dined on some very fine mahi mahi that we caught aboard
the Main Attraction. Thanks again for the great time and professional
atmosphere you provide. Best Regards.

From Brad and Rachel Davis,
Clearwater, Florida, June 8, 2001
Subject: tasty Hi Marty, Morris and Jamie,
We fished the Main Attraction last Sunday for a 3/4 day. My name
is Brad and my wife's name is Rachel. We had an absoluely wonderful
time ... Thank you!
Both Marty and Jamie were everything we could have hoped for
in a Captain and 1st Mate. They were professional, courteous
and enjoyable company. Wanted you to know how tasty the Dorado
were once we arrived back here in Clearwater. Obviously, we have
more meals on the way...the freezer is full !!!
Also, Morris had introduced me to a sunscreen that he and the
crew uses. I was wondering if you could send me some information
on how to obtain some of it from you. I would be very appreciative.
We really had a great time and look foward to coming back. Also,
we are happy to give word of mouth support of your Charter business.
Please give our best to Marty and Jamie.
Thank you!

From John Stegeman, President,
Ferguson Enterprises, Inc., Tampa, Florida, 12/11/00 I
am writing this letter in support of Captains Morris and Marty
Lewis, who charter two customized 42' Morgans out of Key Colony
Beach Marina in Marathon key, Fl. I am not sure about you,
but being an avid fisherman I always want to make sure I have
hired a Captain who knows the ocean, and most importantly,
how to catch fish.
I have been fishing with Morris and Marty aboard the Main Attraction
for well over five years, and had some very memorable moments,
including catching 12 sailfish in one day with four large cobias
as an extra treat. In addition, I have fished in many tournaments
with them, and our record of winning these tournaments including
largest fish and 1st and 2nd place really speaks towards the
experience of the captains.Although Morris and Marty will cater
to whatever desire you have, they will recommend to you what
is out there to catch and be open and honest with you. They get
as much enjoyment (maybe more) from watching you catch fish.
I have also fished my young neighbor with them, and they are
very patient to ensure you will enjoy your experience. If you
want a safe, exciting, offshore or inshore fishing adventure,
count on the Main Attraction to get you there. I personally recommend
them and look forward to the trips I have already scheduled in
2001.

From Mr. & Mrs. William C. Bergmann,
2/6/2001 Dear Morris, Cindy and I wanted to write
to thank you for a truly spectacular fishing season. As you
know we have fished with more than a dozen other captains on
as many boats over the past ten years and no one has exhibited
the professionalism, the attention to detail and the dedication
to "having a good time" that you, Marty, Jamie, and
Arial have shown us in the 30 or so days we spent together
last Fall. Both Cindy and I are counting the days until September.
We look forward to many more great days about "Main Attraction" this
Fall.

I
jumped in to help only to be slammed by a second Sail. As I set
the hook, a third hit the starboard outrigger. We had three hookups
at once! Mine turned out to be 93” and my wife’s
84”. Finally, nearly 8 years of waiting had paid off! That
day began a marriage with the Main Attraction that has lasted
for years, and never a disappointment.
Since then, I would speculate that we’ve been out with you guys 15 to 20
times and have always “loaded” the boat. Mahi-Mahi,
Tuna, Wahoo, Yellow Tails, Kings, and about every other fish in
the ocean.
During the last trip, we had company guests and went with you 5
times. Our best customer was taking his second ever Charter. A “dyed in the wool”,
hardcore Trout fisherman, little did he know what was in store for him. After
a warm-up with some Yellow Tails, and a round with some Kings, Marty and Jamie
once again came through, only this time, there were 5 Sails on at once. Two on
the boat, and legally caught another. Needless to say my customer is a Main Attraction
addict, bought and wears a Main Attraction “T” shirt,
and even went out and joined the IGFA and the Billfish Foundation!
The second week was just like the first! Tuna, Kings, Dolphin,
and this little fellow I’m sending you a photo of. Over 56 pounds of Permit, the likes
of which I’ve never seen, nor do I think I want to try again
real soon. That fish kicked my backside!
Bottom line is this. You can try every charter from Miami to Key West if you
like boat rides. If you want to catch fish, there is ONLY charter to consider.
Main Attraction, period.
Guys, Betsy and I, along with the folks that have fished with us,
want to thank you for being a “class act”. It is truly
appreciated! Ryck & Betsy
