We run half, three-quarter, and all day charters. We also run overnight trips, Tortugas trips, Swordfish Night Charters and can add snorkeling or a sunset cruise to your day anytime. We also do weddings and funerals. Bait and tackle are of course included in your charter, and one of our highly experienced mates will be there to rig and set out the lines, explain everything to the novice anglers on board, be your coach and advisor as you reel in your catch and boat the fish when it’s time.
Coolers are available. All you will need to bring is food, beverages and (recommended) lots of sun screen.
Except for Bahamas trips, boats leave the dock at 08:30 am Oct - April.
May - Sept. Boats leave at 07:00 am.

Prices may have to be adjusted with a fuel adjustment fee without notice due to the huge increases in fuel costs on a daily basis. We at The Main Attraction are trying to keep our price as low as possible during these trying times. The current fuel market is making it very hard to quote firm prices therefore,

Reef fishing, is described, when the boat is on anchor, motors are not running. Your targeted species is Yellowtail, Mangrove Snapper, Grouper, Mutton Snapper, King Fish, Mackerel and other species in season.

Offshore Fishing, is described, when the boat is in motion either trolling or live bait fishing. The motors are always running. Targeted species are Sailfish, Dolphin, Tuna, Marlin, King Fish, Wahoo, Cobia and Permit or other species in season.
Offshore or Combo Fishing, is described, when the boat is on anchor for part of your fishing time and then moves to offshore style of fishing. It is possible to Offshore/Combo fishing charters on 3/4 and full day charters when the right fishing conditions exist.

MAIN ATTRACTION Tournaments

Fishing in tournaments is very expensive if you do it right. Preparation takes five times as long, fuel costs double, and the days are longer than for a full day charter. For these reasons and more, we charge the following for tournaments:

Minimum rate: $1200 per day + Fuel Costs
Minimum tip for captain: $100
Minimum tip for mate: $125
All expenses such as dockage, hotels, fees and Calcutta money: paid by charter
Travel by captain and crew to charter site: paid by charter

Important: Due to the time required for crew travel and boat preparation, the MAIN ATTRACTION fishing team does not clean fish caught during tournaments. Your options include cleaning
the catch yourself or donating some or all of the catch
(ideally the larger fish) to the boat as a bonus. Please remember that schoolies always eat best.

Note about Seasickness:
We advise our customers who are unsure about Seasickness to take a seasick pill the night before the charter and another one hour before the charter. Be sure to read the labels. Certain pills have warnings and not all people should take them. They usually work. However, in case of seasickness, the customer has the option to cancel the trip and pay a rate of $200.00 per hour from the time the boat leaves and gets back to the dock.
As with any drug, Always check with your Doctor first!
