There is a big deference
in charter services, boats and Captains. How they are rigged, techniques
used and skill levels determine a successful fishing day.
No other charter services operate quite like we do.
Other charter services have tried to copy us and have even told prospects
that they fish just like “The Main Attraction”!
We want all our anglers to learn to fish The Main Attraction way. We pride
ourselves in teaching our anglers, especially children, to fish the Keys
using the most successful techniques.
The Main Attraction Fishing Teams has developed, through years of experience,
unique fishing techniques that consistently produce better catches.
Over 35 years in the charter business, fishing 600-700 charters per year,
with our fleet. 75% of our charters are repeat customers. Our captain and
Mate’s combined fishing experience is over 100 years.
Our charter numbers have increased in the past two years, even with the poor
economy.
There is not a better charter service in the Florida Keys. Period. The founder
of The Main Attraction, Captain Morris Lewis, has over 5000 days fishing
the waters of the Keys. That’s over 60,000 hrs. He has personality trained
each of the Captains and mates of The Main Attraction charter fleet.
All our boats have professional Mates. Why? Because you get twice the net
fishing time on boats that have well trained mates and Captains.
Some smaller boats are cutting costs by fishing without mates. When the Captain
is doing double duty, as Captain and mate, you are not getting a good value
for the money spent on your charter, no matter what the cost. It is impossible
for a double-duty operation to give you the same net fishing time as a Captain/Mate
fishing team.
If you consider a charter or have been fishing on boats smaller than 40 foot,
you are not getting the best value or getting the total fishing experience
possible. These boats may seem to be a little cheaper but the net fishing
time will cost you much more. In addition, you will not experience all the
possible fishing techniques you would get fishing on a larger boat.
The Main Attraction boats are over 40 foot, have towers and provide a safe
and stable ride. We will make your fishing experience an Adventure of a Lifetime,
in stead of a costly nightmare.
For those who are wanting a lower cost charter boat, Main Attraction has
added a 34’ boat, with Captain only, those who wish to fish at a lower value
and lower cost. We still believe that your best value is choosing one of
our larger boats, but if you want a smaller boat we have one of the best.
The Main Attraction is the only charter service which has the NO FISH-NO
PAY (full day) Guarantee.
All our boats are well maintained and have full heads, top of the line light
tackle, clean, fast, stable, professional captains, all a pleasure to fish
with, who love catching not fishing, who understand that we are not only
a charter business but also in the entertainment business. We always have
fun whether the fish are biting or not.
There is a big difference when choosing your charter service. We hope you
will make the right choice and fish The Main Attraction!

Proper Foot Attire:
Please make sure you wear non skid footwear
designed for wet conditions, or boating shoes. Filpflops are not consider
boating shoes and are not good to wear on a boat. (Wear them at your
own risk).
Always wear these shoes while on the boat and dock area. Never go bear
footed. Our boats do have the aniti skid on the floors, but the floor
is always wet or damp. The dock area is always wet.
If you fall, and you are not wearing the proper footwear, there will
not be any insurance coverage.
